Peer Review Process
Our journal adopts a double-blinded peer review process to ensure impartiality and maintain high standards of scientific integrity. In this system, both the reviewers and the authors remain anonymous to each other throughout the review process.
Process Overview
Manuscript Submission
Authors submit their manuscripts via the journal’s online submission system, ensuring that no identifying information is included in the main manuscript file.
A separate title page containing author names, affiliations, and acknowledgements is submitted separately.
Initial Editorial Screening
The editorial office checks the submission for adherence to the journal’s guidelines, completeness, and suitability for peer review.
Manuscripts failing to meet the basic requirements may be desk-rejected or returned for revision before peer review.
Editor Assignment
An appropriate Section Editor or Handling Editor is assigned based on the manuscript’s subject area.
Reviewer Invitation
The Handling Editor selects two or more independent experts in the relevant field.
Reviewers are invited and provided with the anonymised manuscript.
Peer Review
Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on their scientific merit, originality, clarity, methodology, ethical standards, and significance to the field.
Reviewers submit constructive, unbiased reports and recommendations (Accept / Minor Revisions / Major Revisions / Reject).
Editorial Decision
The Handling Editor reviews the peer reports and makes a decision:
- Accept
- Minor Revision
- Major Revision
- Reject
The decision and anonymised reviewer comments are sent to the authors.
Author Revision
Authors revise their manuscript according to reviewers’ comments.
A point-by-point response letter is submitted along with the revised manuscript.
Second Review (if necessary)
The revised manuscript may be sent back to the original reviewers for re-evaluation.
Final Decision
The Handling Editor makes a final decision based on the revised manuscript and reviewer feedback.
Production and Publication
Accepted manuscripts undergo copyediting, typesetting, and final proofing before publication.
